The world is facing a pandemic unlike any other, and India is no different. While various celebrities are spreading awareness about the novel coronavirus and the precautionary measures one can take to stay safe, one of the biggest concerns has been the elderly population. Ali Fazal’s latest tweet about how to make your parents stay home in self-quarantine is something that’s worth a mention.
It all started when Riz Ahmed, a British actor, asked netizens on Twitter about how he should make his parents understand that everyone needs to stay indoors at this time.
“Any ideas on how to tell our parents they’re grounded?” Ahmed tweeted.
Ali noticed his post and replied with a hilarious tweet, saying, “I told them it’s WW3.”

Given how susceptible the elderly are to Covid-19, it is imperative that they stay home. And perhaps Ali’s idea isn’t half as bad.
According to The World Health Organisation (WHO), elderly people and people with pre-existing medical conditions are more prone to the novel coronavirus.
“While we are still learning about how COVID-2019 affects people, older persons and persons with pre-existing medical conditions (such as high blood pressure, heart disease, lung disease, cancer or diabetes) appear to develop serious illness more often than others,” the WHO Q&A reads.
So, what are you planning to tell your parents?
