India Today Group’s Vice-Chairperson Kalli Purie is Impact’s ‘Most Influential Woman’ for 2020

Ms Kalli Purie, Vice-Chairperson of India Today Group, has been conferred upon the prestigious ‘Impact Most Influential Woman Award’ for the year 2020. This is the 9th edition of the award and Ms Purie has been a part of the list for 7 past editions and has made to the top 5, twice. These awards are given to recognize and acknowledge the immense contribution, inspiring leadership and remarkable body of work of some of the trail-blazing women achievers from the Indian Advertising, Media and Marketing industry.

The awards jury was chaired by Sam Balsara, Chairman, Madison World and also had other distinguished members including Animesh Kumar, Chief People Officer, Zee Entertainment; B. Srinivasan, MD, Vikatan Group; Delna Avari; Founder, Delna Avari & Consultants; Ferzad Palia, Head, Youth, Music and English Entertainment, Viacom18; Gurmit Singh, General Manager, Quora; Partha Sinha, President, Response, TOI Group; Punitha Arumugam, Founder, Arumugam & Consultants; Rana Barua, CEO, Havas Group; Ravish Kumar, Head Regional Entertainment Cluster, Viacom18; Shalini Kamath, Founder & CEO, SK & Associates; Tarun Katial, CEO, Zee5 India and Vikram Chhachhi, Principal, Global Consumer Markets, Heidrick & Struggles.

Winners were selected on the basis of parameters such as contribution to their respective roles, size of the business they head/lead, impact on their work on the profession/industry and any other notable achievements.
